Life in Use

How we investigate

We turn practical questions into traceable investigations. The source material and the limits are part of the result.

Start with a question

Specify what we want to understand, which people or products the question concerns, and the period or conditions that matter.

Keep the source attached

Each material claim should be traceable to the source, date and applicable model or situation. A manufacturer statement and an owner account are different kinds of evidence.

Explain what was done

Each report states whether it is documentary research, a compilation of experiences or a physical test. Plans, intended trials and actual use are kept distinct.

Count with care

Check duplicate accounts, updates by the same person and whether the denominator is known. A visible pattern can justify further investigation without supporting a population rate.

Use AI with editorial accountability

AI tools can assist search, organization, analysis and translation. Material claims still need source checks; the published conclusion is an editorial responsibility. AI output is not treated as an independent source.

Return to the same report

Keep a stable address. Date meaningful updates, identify what changed and correct claims when the evidence changes. Advertising and any future commercial relationships must be distinguishable from editorial findings.
